The high number of satellite classes means most children at Ferndale are able to have their primary school learning occur in a mainstream environment. This allows our students to benefit from integration opportunities with other primary aged children, yet still have access to and support from specialist teachers, therapists and teacher aides, as well as specialist equipment and programmes.
